About the Role: Accounts Receivable Coordinator
We are looking for an energetic, detail oriented, and intelligent individual. The ideal candidate will strive for success and is motivated by continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining bookkeeping files for multiple clients
- Verify and post transactions to maintain accurate and current financial records
- Accounts Receivable: Tracking/processing of payments and follow up of delinquent payments
- Weekly/monthly bank runs
- Drafting notices to be communicated to Coops (Arrears, Housing charge increases)
- Maintain orderly accounting filing systems
- Office filing in both physical and file formats
Qualifications
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls
Required Skills
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office productivity software skills
- Demonstrate attention to detail
- Demonstrate ability to protect organization's value by keeping information confidential
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a history of recognizing priorities and consistently meeting deadlines
- Highly motivated; a "go getter" who takes initiative to solve problems efficiently and follow through with assigned tasks
- Ability to self-manage tasks and meet strict deadlines
- Continuous streamlining of current processes
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of non-for profit accounting is preferred
- Experience with Quickbooks or similar accounting software is preferred
Pay range and compensation package
Compensation: $55,800 per year (based on experience, commensurate with skills and qualifications)
